We have had dogs for a pet before. After retiring we decided to
get another dog. My wifes choice was a Bichon Frise, WOW!
What a wonderful idea. She is not a dog, she is our
"Happy Little Buddy".
Having her is like, having your very own ray of sunshine to
brighten up every day of your life.
Seeing her in the morning reminds me of seeing the grandkids.
The difference being at the end of the day, you don't feel like
sending her home. You just can't wait for another day.

Hi Mary Lou,
I'm so sorry that I have not gotten back to you sooner.On the day we
brought her home, she laid in my lap the entire trip (100 miles) and went
to sleep.! Topper truly is a godsend. She is already such apart of our family,
everyone loves her. She just loves to racearound in the backyard then come
in and lay on the back of the couch looking out the window. She alerts us if
the mailman or anyone for that matter is coming!!
She has the most gentle temperament and a wonderful disposition. We
couldn't be happier!We feel so lucky to have contacted you.

Hi Mary Lou and Dani Lou � how are you doing? I hope you
remember me - we picked up Chowder from you last
September. His birthday is today, so I had really been thinking
of you � and was going to write, and then this amazing small
world story happened, so I knew I HAD to write!!
But, before I get to the small world story, I just wanted to let
you know that we are SO HAPPY with Chowder! He is cuter
than cute, sweeter than sweet � and just a very adorable,
loving pet!!! Everywhere we go, people are so taken with
him!! We made a good choice!!

Now, for the small world story:
Stephanie came home one day from camp and said that she�d met Chowder�s brother. I really thought she was
kidding, and that she had just seen another Cavachon. Well, when I went to pick her up today, the other Cavachon
was there with his owners �
and it was Wendy (with daughter Emily) and whose dog is cute adorable puppy Rudy!! And Wendy said, Yes, Rudy is
from Star View Kennels, and his Dad was Alfalfa and his Mom was Lily!! Isn�t that amazing that we ran in to each
other?? We are going to try to get the girls and the dogs together later this summer.

Thanks for giving us such a great dog!! Hope all is well with you guys!

Here are photos from today. As you can see we have the cutest dog :)
Delilah has been so much fun, we are in love with her! Her name is Delilah
and she is a perfect fit into our family. We have a 8 year old son with Special
Needs. She has been "therapy"for Ryan, just in the fact that she will sit with
him, kiss him and she lets him carry her and love her to death! We also have
a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a cat. She fits right in and feels like she
was meant to be with us. She is so easy going and has won the heart of
people who "say" they only like big dogs! Delilah loves everyone and is
always wagging her tail! Everywhere we go people ask about her. I can't
wait to get another one, from your next litter!!We are so happy with our
"baby" and would love to be a reference if you ever need another one!

I got our sweet little "Teddy Bear" puppy in March 2007 that I
named Chenoa. I was concerned about my husband's prejudice against
little dogs. I did wait until he encouraged me to go ahead and
purchase her but it was because he wanted to make me happy. It took
only moments for him to fall in love with her when we arrived
home. You told me this would happen and you were right. My
husband recently told me he knew I would love the puppy, he just
wasn't prepared for how much he would love her.
I am sending you a photo of her graduation from puppy training
classes in June. On the first day of class she started out by happily and
fearlessly socializing with every dog, no matter what their size. As
we were leaving after eight weeks, the trainer told me Chenoa is a
very smart dog. She picked up everything very quickly. The trainer
loved Chenoa's bouncy little gait and wide open mouth that indicated
the puppy was having a great time as she walked beside me on leash.

Hi Mary Lou:
I just had to send you this picture of our Sugar.She is sooooo
sweet, a little timid of strangers but she sure loves her
family.We have her in obedience school and she is doing very
well. The kids absolutely love her.Still no shedding so Im happy
with that! She is 10 lbs ( I think 5 lbs of that is hair!!!!!!!! Thank
you again for our wonderful Shichon.

My husband, children and I want to thank you so much for taking such good
care of our little Milo prior to our adopting him. We were very
impressed with your dogs; all are so happy, healthy, clean and loved. Your
kennels and whelping areas are IMMACULATE and I know
Milo got the best start possible because of your care!! He is a special little
guy. My husband and I had a date tonight and I have to
say I missed Milo more than my kids! I couldn't wait to get home and see his
cute little face and feel his soft fluffy fur! He's a real cutie.
I also want to thank you for being available for training and behavioral
advice! It's nice to know you're just a phone call away!

We would love one that's a few months old or older (preferably
already potty trained)--but not too old because Brock LOVES to play

Once again, I am writing because a coworker of mine just purchased a female black labradoodle pup from you last week.
They are the Cook family-I work with Holly, the "mom"-and I referred them to you because I am always showing
pictures of Brock to everyone at work and Holly thought Brock was so cute so I gave her all your info, and now she has a
new fabulous labradoodle :-)
Ironically, she is Brock's 'full' sister (Maggie & King were parents for both litters)! As soon as Holly's puppy is grown a
bit, we plan on letting them meet and have play dates. Right now Brock is too big & goofy to play with her, but we are
looking forward to when she is bigger and they can finally meet. I would love to send you pictures.
Anyway, I am sure Holly and her family will be as happy we are with our Brock-dog! Couldn't have
found a better dog in the world...

Just a note to say that we (Sam, Chris, Ethan and our Shichon, Tofu) are all
doing wonderfully here. Tofu is so loved in this house. We couldn�t have
asked for a better pick for our first dog.
Are you planning on having more litters of Shichons? We have looked at
your puppies available page off and on and notice that there are mostly
Cavachon and Bichon litters. We would love to get another Shichon puppy
from you early next year if that is possible.

I just wanted to write and tell you how much we love our cavachon
Samson! I've attached a picture of the king himself. They say I'm terrible
disciplinarian because I melt everytime he even looks at me! He's so loved by
me, but my husband is hooked! We want to sincerely thank you for bringing
into our lives this bundle of JOY! As you promised, he came to us in perfect
health and remains it to this day. Our vets don't even want to hand him back,
he's so cute! He is currently 3 -1/2 months old. Still a baby!
Have a wonderful and beautiful Christmas, and New Years, and

cavachon, which I am currently pushing for!

I've been meaning to send you a "one year later"picture of the tiny little
Shichon that I bought from you last March. Muffin is now 1 year old and
weighs 15 lbs!! She was the really little one of the
litter and I remember that you didn't imagine she would get much bigger
than 10 lbs. She is a very sweet dog and loves people, other dogs, kids, you
name it! She is a great companion and I love her to death! I hope you like

My name is Beth Fromkin. I recently bought a cavachon puppy from Marylou
and Danilou Anderson.I live in New Jersey and flew to Seattle to pick up my
puppy because of the confidence I had in Starview Kennels. After speaking for
nearly one hour with Marylou, I went upstairs and told my husband that I
needed to purchase one of their puppies.
As everyone knows, there are many puppymills out there and I did not want
a puppy from one of them. Marylou and Danilou spent a great deal of time
speaking with me and answered all of my questions.I was and still am certain
that they love and care for every single one of their dogs. They take thi
business seriously and they put much love and time into caring for the dogs
and the puppies. I felt so good after speaking with them; I knew in my heart
that they were people who would treat their dogs just like Iwould.

Mary and Dani,
We got a Bichon puppy from you a few months ago and named him
Harley. A couple months after that our little baby boy entered the
world. We just have to say that Harley has been such a wonderful
addition to our family. He has adjusted so well to having a 2 year old
and an infant in the home, he loves to play with our 2 year old and he
is so gentle with the both of them. We couldn't have asked for a
better puppy for our family. You really do breed the most wonderful

Patsy now has me almost trained to meet her needs for
going outside. She's also let me know that gentle
rewards for good training really pay off. She's surprised
me by usually wanting to get back into her crate after a
morning outing to snooze for a couple of hours before
her breakfast. I love it because I can get a lot done and
then be able to enjoy her company completely. She
adores Jack and it appears that the feeling is mutual.
She also loves children and other dogs so her life here
isn't as interesting as when we visit our grandchildren.
She probably would like a little companion, something
we'll have to consider, I guess. Meanwhile, she has me
as an adoring owner.

Just a little update...She's a joy; funny, eager, quick to learn (knows all the
"regular": sit, lay, stay, come, heel, fetch, also has down "dance", "sit
pretty" (sit up on hind legs), learning "hands up", preparatory to "play
dead". She bosses her "big brother" Wilson around, but they really get
along well, and play a lot together. I love coming home from work to both
of them, hoping things work out so can work from home soon.

Hello Mary Lou and Dani!
We wanted to give you an update on our puppy "Scout" and a picture of
him at home. He is an absolute sweetheart and immediately made himself
at home with our family. He yelped a little bit the first night in his crate
(in our bedroom) but has slept thru every night since then without
problem. He is very sweet, loves being around one or all of us, and is the
perfect balance of playfulness and mellowness when inside. He received a
clean bill of health from the vet.
Thank you again for accommodating our pick up date. We are so happy to
have Scout as a member of the family!

Dear Mary Lou and Dani Lou,
We wanted to let you know how happy we are with our two new puppies! Bo
(Shichon) and Luke (Cavachon) are doing very well and growing every day. We'll

Thank you so much for the great experience we had with you and Star View
Kennel. When we first visited your kennel in February 2007 to see what
Cavachons looked like (we'd only read about them), we were impressed by how
clean everything was and how well each dog and puppy were cared for. We
appreciated the time you took to answer our questions about your dogs and your
kennel. Although we only came to visit, we ended up placing a deposit that day
for a Cavachon that we "met" via his mom even before he was born. Your "visit
anytime" policy was much appreciated and gave us a chance to see our new
Cavachon puppy (Luke) when he was just two days old and then again when he
was almost 4 weeks old. Because we were so pleased with your kennel, during one
of our visits we ended up with a second puppy - the Shichon (Bo)! It has been an
amazing experience having two puppies. They bring so much laughter and joy to
our house each day. Both puppies have a wonderful temperament, are well
socialized, affectionate and love to play and be held. They are very smart too! To
us, this is further evidence that you are a first-class breeder who very much cares
about the dogs you breed and their puppies. When we took our puppies to our
veterinarian (by the way, everyone there loved Bo and Luke), he echoed our
thoughts about our experience and said that he was very impressed with the
condition of the puppies and how knowledgeable you were about the health care
puppies need (shots, deworming, vitamins, etc.).

So once again, thank you for bringing these little four-legged guys into our lives.
They make us smile every day.

We first bought a Cavachon puppy from you in March 2007. Your breeding
facility was clean and the birthing/whelping areas were spotless. Cody
is a healthy, sweet, and very smart dog. He is really the love of our
lives! We realized that we can't duplicate perfection but we are going
to try. We are certainly comfortable and confident about getting
another puppy from you. We picked up Jake in May 2008. Jake has
brought back sweet memories of puppy smell and puppy breath.
Cavachon puppies hop around like little bunnies. Very cute! Jake is an
easy puppy to care for. The temperament and disposition of both dogs
have exceeded our expectations of Cavachon breed. Thank you again for
another healthy and so adorable puppy!

Our little Migo is settling into life with the Felkers very nicely.
By the end of Monday she had already learned the purpose of the
litter box and is nearly perfect in making it on her own to the
litter box when she needs it. I take her to work with me every day
and have a duplicate setup there for her. She cries every now and
then, when she thinks she needs more attention, but never more
than a minute or 2. Our 19 year old son thinks she is the cutest
thing he has ever seen. At first she didn't eat or drink and she was
afraid of the dish. So we got a new tiny one and that is much
better. She still doesn't want to eat much on her own so I hand
feed her and then she eats plenty. So I guess she is training me. I'm

sure I have to quit that and let her be hungry for a day, but I will give her another day or two. She
drinks plenty of water on her own now.We took her to the vet yesterday and she said Migo seems very
healthy. I just wanted to let you know that she is doing great. You can keep up with her on our website

Marylou......I know you have a lot of puppies in and
out of your kennel....but thought you'd like to see
"Gus"....not yet 8 months and still growing. If you
remember, we called him "Bo Jangles" before we
picked him up...well, he was no more a Bo than a
Jangles....he is GUS, Prince of Schooner Dr.
We love him! We want another one to keep him
company.He is just now acting like a dog instead of a
puppy, well, kind of sort of.....he is definitely still a
puppy. Everyone here stops us on the street when
walking him........and falls in love.thank you, and....
so now, what batch should we go for?

We purchased a goldendoodle puppy from you last
summer (the BEST dog ever, by the way!).
I attached a few pictures of Cosmo. I have to say that
EVERYWHERE we take him, people stop us and ask
what kind of dog he is. He is so funny, and friendly,
and just makes strangers on the street laugh out loud
because of his goofiness and good nature. He loves all
dogs and people of all ages, and is very, very smart.
We get a lot of comments on how big he is! Others
who have seen goldendoodles say he is the biggest
one they have seen! We love how big he has gotten.
My huband takes him into his office a lot, and a few
of his co-workers have actually purchased dogs from
you because they saw how great Cosmo is. Thank you
for the best dog ever!

We had a great time. She loves being out.

how much I love my little
Shichon!! Rosie Bella will
be seven months old in a
few weeks and she has
brought my family so much
joy! My beautiful mother in
Alabama passed away
from lung cancer just
weeks after I adopted
Rosie Bella. Before my
mom passed, she met my
new puppy. My mom was
miserable in pain and
Rosie Bella made her
smile! My mom loved her!
A priceless moment. Rosie
Bella was such a love with
my grieving father.

Her puppy kisses cheered him
and I have wonderful memories
of dad sitting alone on the front
porch playing and talking to
her. He really needed that

Hi there! Well, the last 1-1/2 weeks has
been a lot of fun. The Shichon puppy is doing
great and the kids are having a ball. We
named him Schatzi (German for
"sweetheart").
We took him to the vet, and he got an overall
clean bill of health. He's been a really
happy and sweet puppy, and I know he'll be
a great dog and family member for quite
some time. I appreciate your help. Thank

Dear Mary Lou,

I wanted to let you know how our sweet little
Kylee is doing. She's six and a half months old
now and is as adorable as ever at 52 pounds and
growing. I can't believe what a good puppy
she's been. She's beautiful, friendly, smart and
easy going and gets compliments wherever she
goes. She doesn't chew up our things, doesn't
dig and doesn't bark excessively.
Kylee has a black half sister named Katie who
is six months older than Kylee and lives in our
neighborhood. Her mom is Maggie and her dad
is King and she's 83 pounds!
The two have playdates about once a week and
are so cute together.
Thanks again for bringing our precious Kylee
into our lives!

Hi Mary Lou and Dani Lou,
Here are some pictures of our adorable Penny!!
(Ira picked her up at the end of May). She did
great on the airplane and has been the BEST
puppy ever. We love her to pieces! Everything
that you say about Cavachons has proven to be
100% true. She is terrific with the kids, has the
most calm and sweet temperament, doesn't shed
one bit, is smart as can be and is so easy to have
around. All she wants to do is be with us and
snuggle :). A true lap dog. She fit right into our
family and day to day lives and is such a joy. She's
even doing really well with her housebreaking.

Time has passed by quickly
pleasure to own, we can't express
enough how happy he makes us feel.
He was a wonderful addition to an
already made doggie family of a 7 year
old Rottie X and 7 year old German
Shep X and our 2 year old cat Mokie!
Berkley and Mokie have a special bond
playing together each and everyday.

Lately Berkley has been given a new
job - can you believe this "he's our

Just wanted to update both of
you on Charlie, our Cavachon we
brought home on Memorial Day
weekend. He is 9.6 lbs as of last
monday and is the cutest thing on
the planet. We now wish we'd
bought two so he'd have someone
his size to play with! He is mellow
and friendly to everyone and
learning his manners.

Hi MaryLou -

This is what our little (7.3 pounds) Gina looks like
now... she does need to see the groomer again, but
we will miss her fluffy fur. A wide strip of dark hair
has grown in on her back, so she will look different
after a hair trim. She and her "step brother", Sean,
get along well - she is getting less feisty and stingy ,
and grooms him - around his eyes and ears! We take
her for long (over a mile) walks twice a day in the
park you see in the photo (across the street from our
house). She spends many hours looking out at the
park from the window seat in my study. We enjoyed
visiting Star View Kennels and are very glad that we
found Gina there. I have since referred a number of
people there - because everyone who meets Gina in
the park thinks she is beautiful - and want to know
where we got her.
